Tahini Salad Recipe
Salatat Khodra bil Tahina Ingredients:
3 large tomatoes
1 green pepper
1/2 cup tahini
1 lemon (juice)
1/4 cup vinegar
3 medium cucumbers
1 small onion
1 cup parsley, finely chopped
1 tsp salt
2 garlic cloves, crushed
Salatat Khodra bil Tahina Method:
1. Peel and dice cucumbers and onions
2. Finely chop tomatoes and combine with onion and cucumber mixture.
3. Finely chop pepper and add to mixture
4. In separate bowl mix tahini, lemon juice, vinegar, salt and garlic.
5. Mixture should be the consistency of cream. If too thick add a little water.
6. Pour tahini mixture over vegetables and stir well.
7. Serve with garnish of parsley.
