Gluten Free Pizza |
Gluten Free Pizza Base Ingredients:
450g white bread flour - Gluten and wheat free (Dove Farm make)
1/2 tsp salt
2tsp quick yeast
2tbsp sugar
325ml warm milk
1tsp vinegar
2 medium eggs
6 tbsp oil
1 handful fresh basil, torn
Farmhouse Pizza Topping Ingredients:
1 clove garlic
1 tbsp olive oil
1 medium onion, chopped
10 mushrooms, sliced
pack of bacon, thick cut, diced
1 tin of chopped tomatoes
2 handfuls of fresh basil
Mozzerella, sliced
Gluten Free Pizza Base Method:
1. Mix together flour, salt, yeast and sugar
2. In a large bowl beat in the milk, vinegar and eggs
3. Add the flour and mix to form a sticky dough
4. Continue mixing in the oil and the basil
5. Place the dough on an oiled baking tray, cover and leave to rise in a warm place for 1 hr.
Farmhouse Pizza Topping Method:
1. In a frying pan crush the garlic, add the olive oil and onion
2. Allow onions to soften, add a pinch of sugar if necessary
3. Add in diced bacon
4. Add in chopped tomatoes once bacon is fully cooked and allow to bubble
5. As a final touch add in the basil
6. Allow to cool enough so when placed onto the base it doesn't cook the base
7. Place the mushroom slices onto the top of the sauce and then mozzarella slices on the top of the mushrooms and place into the oven.
8. Bake in a pre heated oven for 40-45 mins.
