All Bran Loaf Recipe
According to my recipe book this recipe is from Mrs Seary via my mom. This was a great weekend breakfast/brunch idea and kept us full of energy.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup all bran
1 cup sultanas
1 cup milk
Method:
1. Add all ingredients into a bowl and soak for 1 hour.
2. Just before the hour is up turn the oven to gas mark 4.
3. Line the loaf tin with backing parchment, folding the edges rather than cutting them.
4. Pour in the mixture, pop into the oven for a hour.
5. Take out the oven and rest on a wire rack.
This loaf is delicious warm or cold. Add a little butter for a naughty touch.
